Passed away peacefully at the Grand River Hospital, K-W Health Centre on Tuesday, October 14, 2008, at the age of 79. She will be dearly remembered by her husband Carl Hirmann and his family, Linda and Margaret. Loving sister of Gladys Essery and Ernie (Shirley) Bryenton of P.E.I. and special aunt to Kathy Roy and many other nieces and nephews. Dorothy was predeceased by her two children; parents, Lewis and Hazel Bryenton; sisters, Claire McKinnon, Thelma Chandler; and brothers, John and Harold Bryenton. She worked as a hostess at the K-W Granite Club and Rockway Golf Club for many years. Dorothy's family will receive relatives and friends at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, 519-749-8467, on Saturday, October 18, 2008, at 11 a.m. for her memorial service in the funeral home chapel. A reception will follow. Cremation has taken place and her cremated remains will be interred in Parkview Cemetery, Waterloo.
