Peacefully at the Provincial Palliative Care Unit on Monday, December 30, 2013, of James Albert Farrar of New Haven, age 82 years.
Beloved husband of Shirley (nee Ferguson). Dear father of Leigh (Liz), Harvey (Kathy), Gordon (Ella), Glenda MacPhee (Fred), Donna MacKinnon (Irwin), and Karen Power (James). Lovingly remembered by his 16 grandchildren and his eight great-grandchildren. Brother of Edna Bailey (Delbert, deceased), Velma Frizzell (Charlie, deceased), Pearl Milligan (Carl), Shirley Lee (Gordon), and Marion MacFarlane (Richard, deceased). Brother-in-law of Harold Peppal and Sharon Farrar.
Predeceased by his daughter, Linda Anne, and infant daughter; by his parents, Edgar and Vina (MacPhail) Farrar; by his brothers and sisters, Reta MacFadyen (Robison), Bill, Lloyd, Louise Peppal, Lillian Beaton (L.T.) and Ken.
Resting at Belvedere Funeral Home from where the funeral will be held in the funeral home chapel on Saturday at 3:30 p.m. Interment later in Appin Road Cemetery. Visitation Saturday 1-3 p.m. Family flowers only.
