O'DONNELL, PEARL ELIZABETH (BENJAMIN) - Pearl O'Donnell, of Fredericton, NB, passed away on December, 31, 2013 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital. Pearl was born in Scotts Bay Road, NS on June 9, 1926 to the late Norman and Frances (Schofield) Benjamin. Pearl is survived by one daughter, June Peterson (Percy); two sons, Roy Rodgers (Brenda) and Emerson Schofield (Margarite); two sisters, Kathleen Rand and Madeline Russell (Bruce); two brothers, Morley Benjamin and Hubert Benjamin; nine grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren. Pearl was predeceased by her husband of 33 years, Vance; an infant sister; two brothers, Wilbert and Victor; two sisters-in-law, Marion and May Benjamin. Pearl was a practical nurse, a homemaker and she also loved to step-dance and entered many competitions in her younger days.
Relatives and friends are invited to the First United Pentecostal Church of Noonan for visitation on Friday, January 3, 2014 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. Funeral service will be from the First United Pentecostal Church of Noonan on Saturday, January 4, 2014 at 2:00 pm with Pastor Bruce Arsenault officiating. Interment will be in the spring.
