It is with great sadness that the family of the late Leonard Tucker announce his passing at the Health Science Complex, St. Johns on Tuesday December 31, 2013 at the age of 53 years. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his wife Wanda (nee Mishaud) of 33 years; 3 children: Patti (Shawn) Wells of Sudbury, ON, Nikki (Randy) Keeping of Ardrossan, AB, and John (Brittney) Tucker of Meadows, NL; 8 beautiful grandchildren: Ashley Wells, Eric Wells, Tyler Keeping, Chloe Keeping, Jaxon Keeping, Kailee Tucker, Brooke White, and Bella White; father Ben (Dorothy) Tucker Of Meadows, NL; brothers: Derrick Brake, Dale Tucker, Ken, Murdock, Stanley, Derek, and Craig; sisters: Marg, Francis, Glenys, Roxanne, and Tina; Godchildren: Madison Mishaud and Anthony Brake; parents in law Joe & Mary Mishaud of Irishtown, NL; brothers in law: Wally and Monty; sisters in law: Debbie, Lori, and Gail, as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his mother Rowena (nee Anderson) Tucker; grandson Brady Tucker, and brother Keith Tucker. Friends may visit Country Haven Funeral Home, 167 Country Road on Friday January 3, 2014 between the hours of 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. and Saturday January 4, 2014 from 10 a.m. to 12 noon. The funeral service will follow at 2 p.m. from Country Haven Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Malcolm Palmer officiating. In Keeping with Leonard’s wishes cremation will take place, with interment at a later date. As expressions of sympathy flowers are graciously accepted or donations may be made to the Janeway Children’s Hospital Foundation or a charity of ones choice.
