It is with deep sadness that the family of the Late Rodney Chaffey announce his sudden passing at his family residence in Jeffrey’s, NL on Monday, December 30, 2013 at the age of 65 years. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his wife Ida; daughters: Bonnie (Robert), Heather (Leonard), Maria (Bert); grandchildren: Mackenzie, Mary, Gabrielle, Benjamin, Isabelle; brother Anthony (Leona); sister Rosalind (Bryan) as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his parents Morgan and Annie Chaffey. Friends may visit St. Mary Magdalene Anglican Church, Jeffrey’s from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 p.m. on Thursday and Friday from where the funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 4th at 11:00 a.m. with Reverend Terry Rose officiating. Interment will follow in the Anglican Church Cemetery, Jeffrey’s. As expressions of sympathy, flowers are graciously accepted. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Fillatre’s Funeral Home, Stephenville Crossing.
