It is with Heavy hearts that the family of Roland Clifford Rideout announces his sudden passing at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital in Corner Brook, NL, on Monday, December 30th, 2013, at the age of 71 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories his wife; Marie nee Drover, his children; Shawn (Brenda), Clifford (Sharon), & Tracy, his grandchildren; Dean, Shayna, Emma, Erin, & Ava, his siblings; Wilfred (Theresa), Karl (Dorothy), Lester (Fatima), Andy (Gail), Terry (Joanne), Rick (Michelle), Evelyn, Olive (Rhodie), Loretta, Bonnie (Reg), Wanda, & Kim (Tony), his step mother Fern Gamble. Roland was predeceased by his parents; Beatrice & Lester Rideout. The family will be receiving family and friends from Parsons Funeral Home & Chapel 63 North Main Street, Deer Lake, NL, on Thursday, January 2nd, 2014, from the hours of 2-4 & 7-9 pm. The funeral service will take place on Friday, January 3rd, 2014, at the Salvation Army Church in Deer Lake, NL, at 2:00 pm with C.S.M Sandra Pinksen officiating. As per Roland’s wishes, cremation will follow, with a burial to follow at a later date.
