In the face of these challenges Mabel remained a tireless homemaker, devoted wife, loving and caring mother, supportive mother-in-law, an amazing sister, remarkable sister-in-law, cherished aunt and doting grandma.
She was a generous neighbour, cheerful friend, wonderful baker and nature lover. She was able to see and enjoy the simplicity of life without complication, a gift that many cannot embrace.
Mabel lived with genuine modesty and humility that remains for us all an inspiration to enjoy life with family.
