It is with great sadness that the family of the late Joseph Doucette announce his passing at the Sir Thomas Roddick Hospital, Stephenville on Wednesday, January 1, 2014 at the age of 70 years. He will be sadly missed by his loving wife, Janice; three sons: Joe (Koren Gabriel), Clifton, Nathan and two ­brothers: Harold (Yvonne) of Kippens, Fred of St. John’s; one sister, Ursula Moyles of Kippens; one grandchild: Daniel Weston Oxford and a large circle of relatives and friends. He was ­predeceased by his parents, John T. & Dorothy Doucette; his brother, Angus and sister, Edna. Friends may call at Maria Regina Parish, Port au Port East, on Saturday, January 4th and Sunday, January 5th from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service will take place on Monday, January 6th at 10:00 a.m. at the Maria Regina Parish, Port au Port East, with Interment in the Hillside Interfaith Cemetery, Hansen Highway, Stephenville.
