Peacefully at Whisperwood Villa on Wednesday, October 15, 2008, of Ruth Roberta Curtis (nee Rattenbury) of Charlottetown, age 92 years. Wife of the late Frank Curtis. Mother of John (Donna), Bedford, N.S.; Cathy (Michael) Beatty of Cape Town, South Africa; Richey (Blair) Mayne, Stratford; and Norah Curtis (Peter Rombough) of Brandon, Manitoba. Loving grandmother of Jason and Sarah Curtis, Matthew and Daniel Beatty, David and John Mayne, Adrienne, Colin Benjamin (predeceased) and Julia Rombough. Sister of the late Nelson Rattenbury and Esther Pletch. Aunt of Anne Walton, Deborah Tanton and Andrew Pletch. Resting at MacLean Funeral Home Swan Chapel. Funeral Saturday from the Kirk of St. James at 10 a.m. Interment in People’s Cemetery. If so desired, memorials to P.E.I. Literacy Alliance would be appreciated.
