It is with great sadness that the family of the late Joan Felix announce her passing at the Sir Thomas Roddick Hospital on Friday, January 3rd, 2014 at the age of 71 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are her two brothers: Mercier (Pat) in Sault Ste. Marie, Fintan (Emma) in Kippens; two sisters: Doreen Doucette in Kippens, Loretta (Joe) Gillis in Baie Verte, and a large circle of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her parents, William & Mary Gabriel; and her brother Melvin and his wife Eileen. Friends may call at Russells Funeral Home at 57 Prince Rupert Drive in Stephenville on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will take place on Wednesday, January 8th, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. from St. Stephen's Parish Church, West St., Stephenville, with cremation to follow.
