ARSENAULT, THÉRÈSE - Thérèse Arsenault, 86, of Moncton, passed away on Monday, January 6, 2014 at the Moncton Hospital. Born on May 27, 1927 in Moncton, she was the daughter of the late François and Anna (Léger) Vautour. Thérèse was a wonderful cook and home maker, and took pleasure in caring for her family and friends. She is survived by five children: Annette LeBlanc (Robert), Léonard and Michel (Donna), all of Moncton, Paulette Goguen (Roger) of Saint-Antoine and Monique Dupuis (Jean) of Dieppe; 13 grandchildren: Marc, Stéphanie, Christien, Ghislain, Jérémie, Miguelle, Philippe, Jonathan, Janie, Derek, Kara, Sébastien and Jean-Luc; two great-grandchildren: Vivianne and Mia; two sisters: Viola Dupuis of Moncton and Célestina Poirier of Sackville; one brother, Camille Vautour (Roseanna) of Grande-Digue; many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, William (2004); one sister, Maria; four brothers: Ernest, Gérard, Cléophas and Lionel; two infants: Janice and Roger.
The family will receive condolences at Frenette Funeral Centre, 88 Church Street, Moncton (858-1900) on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm and Friday from 9:30 until time of departure (10:15). The funeral mass will be celebrated at Notre-Dame-de-Grâce R.C. Church, 858 Mountain Road, Moncton on Friday, January 10, 2014 at 10:30 am. Interment will be in Our Lady of Calvary cemetery, Dieppe.
