LARGE, AUDREY - Audrey Fay Large, wife of the late Ernest Elvert Large, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, January 6, 2014 at her residence. Born 1928 in McAdam, NB she was the daughter of the late Archie and Olive (Little) Robison. In addition to her parents she was predeceased by her brothers Delbert Robison and Harold Robison, and daughter-in-law Maria Large. Audrey worked as a Nurses Aid for Swanhaven Nursing Home in Harvey for 9 years, the St. John St. Stephen Nursing Home for 11, retiring in 1990. In her retirement years she and Ernest enjoyed many summers at their cottage in Perry Point. She is survived by her son Ernest Daniel Large; daughters Gloria Clark (Charles), Connie Hanson (Ronnie), Donna Thompson (Perry) and Lana Burrell all of Saint John; grandchildren Cynthia, Stuart, Leisa, Heather and David; great grandchildren Kathleen, Olivia, Matthew, Meredith, Katelyn, Lauren, Brooke, Tyler, Alyssa, Brody, Willow and Calla.
Arrangements are under the direction of Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road, Saint John (646-2424). By request there will be no visitations. A memorial service will be held from Fundy Funeral Home Chapel on Friday, January 10, 2014 at 11 a.m. Interment will follow at Fernhill Cemetery. Reception will follow at Fundy Funeral Home.
