BRUNEAU, CLAUDETTE (nee LEGER) - It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our dear mother. Born in Moncton to the late Charles-Edouard Leger and late Germaine Cormier. Devoted wife of the late Gilles Bruneau. Beloved mother of Suzanne (Mike Todi), Lise (Anthony Anderson) and Pierre. Beloved Grandmaman of Michelle, John and Nathalie Todi, and Julia and Amanda Woodward. Cherished sister of Louise Turbide (late Gerald), Simone Stewart (Jim) and Madeleine Leger Losier (Real). She will be lovingly remembered by her niece and nephews, extended family and many dear friends. Claudette was the first female to graduate with a Bachelor of Commerce at l'Universite Saint-Joseph (Moncton) in 1957. She worked in Human Resources, was a volunteer, an active member of the Montreal Lakeshore University Women's Club and an avid bridge player.
Visitation will take place at Collins Clarke MacGillvray White, 222 Autoroute 20, Pointe Claire, QC on Sunday, January 12th from 2 to 5pm and 7 to 9pm. Funeral service will be held at Paroisse St-Joachim, 2 rue Sainte-Anne, Pointe Claire, QC on Monday, January 13th at 11am. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or to the charity of your choice.
