BANKS, Clifford A. Age 86, passed away suddenly on January 2, 2014 in Bridgewater, NS. Cliff was the son of the late Clifford Sr. & Lena (Amiro) Banks of Halifax. Cliff was born in Halifax, but spent all of his working career in Amherst. He then retired to the South Shore with his wife Carolyn (Blanch).
He is survived by his children, Steve, Aylesford; Scott, Port Moody, BC; Sue Langhorn (Bob), Calgary. Also survived by his wife, Carolyn (Blanch) and their children Vicki Sheppard (Monty), Halifax; Lisa Dahms (Dana), Wellington; Shannon LeBlanc (Kevin), Halifax; grandchildren Dakota, Connor, Laura; many nieces and nephews.
Cremation has already taken place and service will be held at R.A. Corkum’s Funeral Home in Bridgewater on Monday, January 13, 2014 at 2pm. No reception will follow.
A devoted husband and loving father and grandfather, he will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. Memorial donations may be made to the SHAID Tree Animal Shelter, Bridgewater or Canadian Wildlife Federation
