Passed peacefully away at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital in Corner Brook, NL, on Sunday, January 5th, 2014, Herbert Skeard at the age of 73 years. Leaving to mourn with loving memories are his children: Darlene Jacobs, Sandra (Guy Emberely), Charles (Debbie) and Mathilda (Billy Emberely), his grandchildren: Angel (Brad), Joy, Antonia (Jimmy), Jamie (Megan), Steven, Samantha (Adam), Andrew (Katie), Jordon, his great-grandchildren: Kiesha, Brian, Tru, Owen, siblings: Cecil (Doreen) and Leslie, Shirley, June, Hilda, Jean, Wanda and Elizabeth (Vinny). Herbert was predeceased by his wife Belinda (Lynn) in 2002, his parents Mary and Herbert Skeard; sister Vera Abbott and brother Ivan. As per Herbert’s wishes cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be announced at a later date. The funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Parsons Funeral Home & Chapel, 63 North Main Street, Deer Lake, NL.
