GRAYSON, STAN
1925-2014
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved husband, father and grandfather Stan Grayson on January 2, 2014 at the age of 88 years.
Stan was born December 23, 1925 in Central Butte, Saskatchewan to George and Linda Grayson. Stan resided in Mawer, Saskatchewan until 1944 when he joined The Royal Canadian Army serving with the Regina Rifles and later the Cameron Highlanders of Ottawa. After his discharge from the army Stan married Helen Sullivan in 1946 and worked briefly in Moose Jaw before returning to Mawer to take over the family store. In 1957 Stan sold the store, packed up the family with a few possessions and moved to British Columbia. Resided in Prince George, Williams Lake, Chilliwack, Richmond and Langley before moving to New Westminster where he has been a fixture in the Berkley Place Apartments since 1996.
Stan leaves his wife of 67 years Helen, affectionately known as Tye, son George (Debbie), grandchildren Kelly (Wendy), Shelby (Andy), Curtis, great-grandchildren Kamryn, Kennedy, Lucas and many nephews and nieces.
