DeVouge, Linda Darlene (Coulter) of Truro/Harmony passed away suddenly on January 6, 2014 in Colchester East Hants Health Centre, Truro. Linda was born on September 13, 1948. She was a kind, funny, caring woman who enjoyed spending time with her family. Linda was a huge music and movie fan who enjoyed spending time with her cats. She devoted much of her time to caring for her grandchildren. Linda was greatly loved and will be missed by all whose lives she touched. She is survived by her longtime partner and friend, Rollie Sinton; children, Sheri Cameron (Atkinson) (Wade), Shubenacadie; Larry Atkinson, Jeff (Jenny) Atkinson, both of Truro, Jennifer DeVouge, Truro; stepchildren, Mike (Min) DeVouge, Alta., Tim (Karen) DeVouge, Waverley, Cindy DeVouge, Calgary, Dorothy (Gordie) Morphy, Bedford. Dawn (Mike) Devouge, Calgary, Jennifer (Chris) Sinton, Truro Steven (Christa), Sinton, Truro; sister, Deborah Lein, Ont.; brothers, Roy Coulter, Truro; Dave Coulter and Tony Giffen, both of Ont.; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Linda was predeceased by son, Trevor Atkinson; mother, Dorothy Spence and father, William Coulter. No visitation by request. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, January 14, 2014 at 2:00 pm in Colchester Community Funeral Home, Truro with Rev. Glenn MacLean officiating.
