MYERS, RITA - 1922 - 2014 - Rita Myers, 91, of Résidence Bellevue, Dieppe, formerly of Moncton, NB, passed away on Friday January 10th, 2014, at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital Center.
Born in McDougall Settlement, NB, she was the daughter of the late Raphael and the late Josephine (née: McGraw) Lirette.
Mrs. Myers was a member of Les Dames de Ste-Anne and of Notre-Dame-de-Grâce parish. She is survived by two daughters: Diana (John) Anderson of Notre-Dame and Stella Sedore of Toronto, ON; two sons: Donald (Joan) and Thomas (Rejeanne), both of Moncton; daughter-in-law, Ruth of Riverview; 8 grandchildren: Giselle, Tracy, David, Shelley, Nancy, Stephen, Shawn and Christopher; 13 great grandchildren, as well as several nieces and nephews. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family; she was predeceased by her husband, Leo Myers in 2006.
Visitation will be held from the Chartersville Funeral Home, 363 Amirault Street, Dieppe, 857-1901, on Sunday from 2 to 4 pm and from 7 to 9 pm ONLY. Funeral mass will be celebrated from Notre-Dame-de-Grâce Roman Catholic Church, on Monday, January 13th, 2014 at 11 am.
Interment in Notre-Dame du Calvaire Cemetery, Dieppe, NB
