PARKER, KEVIN DARRELL - The passing of Kevin Darrell Parker of Doaktown, NB occurred on Thursday, January 9, 2014 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born on March 30, 1955 in Doaktown, NB, he was the son of Purdy and the late Joyce (Ward) Parker. Kevin retired from the NBLC as an assistant manager in 2011. He enjoyed reading, playing golf and watching sports. In addition to his father, Kevin is survived by his sister, Lorri Amos (Ricky) of Doaktown, NB; niece, Chelsie (Adam); nephew, Travis (Felicia); and special friend, Libby Robb. Besides his mother, he was predeceased by his maternal and paternal grandparents.
Although there will be no visitation, a Memorial Service will be held at St. Thomas United Church on Sunday, January 12, 2014 at 2 pm with Rev. Patti Armstrong officiating with a reception to follow in the church hall. Honorary Pallbearers are Brian Weaver, Richard Layton, Adam O’Donnell, Gerald Weaver, Mary Hunter and Audrey Arbeau.
