At the Kings County Memorial Hospital in Montague on Saturday, October 18, 2008, of Mary Stewart McGowan (nee Nicholson) of Kilmuir, in her 98th year. Wife of the late Angus McGowan. Survived by her sisters-in-law Irene McGowan, Montague and Greta McGowan, Dalkeith, Ont. Lovingly remembered by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Predeceased by her brother Angus Nicholson. Resting at Ferguson’s Montague Funeral Home, from where the service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Monday at 2 p.m. Interment in the Valleyfield Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Monday from 1 p.m. until the time of service. Flowers gratefully declined.
