TRASK, AUDREY Y. - Audrey Y. Trask, 75, of Riverview, with loving family members at her side, passed away peacefully in the comfort of her home, on Saturday, January 11, 2014. Born in Digby, NS, she was the daughter of the late Burton and E. Maude (Aptt) Ellis. Audrey was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and was a former manager of Lewiscraft Co. in Champlain Mall. She was a member of Highfield Baptist Church, where she was a Sunday school teacher for many years and was heavily involved in various groups within the church. She was a former member of Pearl Rebekah Lodge and Past Matron and Secretary of Fidelity Chapter #36 O.E.S., Riverview. Audrey enjoyed teaching piano, gardening, belonged to a Bridge Club, owned a sewing business, excelled at needlework and making crafts; but first and foremost she enjoyed spending precious time with her family. Audrey will be sadly missed by her loving children, Tammy Stultz (Dave) of Lower Coverdale, Stephen Trask and Todd Trask, both of Riverview; precious grandchildren, Josh, Andy and Meghan; sister, Nancy Lewis (James) of Digby, NS; nieces and nephews, James, Margo, Michael, Sam, Debi and extended family members. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Keith B. Trask (March 17, 2013) and daughter, Cherie Lynn Trask Geldart (December 1993).
Visitation at Fergusons Funeral Home, 1657 Mountain Road, Moncton (858-1995) on Monday from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 pm. Fidelity Chapter #36 O.E.S. Memorial Service on Monday at 6:30 pm at Fergusons Funeral Home. Funeral Service at Highfield Baptist Church on Tuesday, January 14, 2014 at 2:00 pm with Rev. Daniel Cormier officiating. Reception in the Church Hall following the service. Interment, Grey's Island Cemetery, Hillsborough, NB, in the spring. In Audrey's memory, donations to the Cherie Lynn Trask Geldart Memorial Scholarship Fund at Crandall University or memorial of choice would be appreciated by the family.
