Gordon Edward “Marty” Martell
It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Marty
Martell on Friday, January 10th, 2014, after a courageous battle
with cancer. He was a kind, gentle, loving soul who would do
anything for anyone. He was predeceased by his parents,
Gordon and Ethel, sister Helen, son Greg and parents in law,
John and Joyce. Marty is survived by his loving wife
Kathleen, son David (Cheryl), son Kevin (Crystal);
grandchildren, Shea (Jayme) and Ryan, and many brothers and
sisters in law, nieces, nephews and cousins. “Our heartfelt
thanks are extended for the precious care received by the
Palliative Home Care team.” A Celebration of Life and luncheon
will be held from 1:30 p.m. – 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday, January
15th, 2014 at the Royal Canadian Legion, 268 High St. West.
All friends and family are welcome. In lieu of flowers,
memorial donations in memory of Marty may be made to the Royal
Canadian Legion Branch #59 Poppy Fund, 268 High St. West,
