It is with great sadness that the family of the late SARAH M. ISAACS of Lord’s Cove, announces her passing at the Burin Peninsula Health Care Centre in Burin, on Monday, January 6th, 2014, at the age of 75. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are: Sons - James (Isabel) Isaacs of Fortune, John Isaacs (Connie Handrigan) of St. Lawrence, Leon (Rita Mary) Isaacs of St. Bernard’s, Dean (Yolanda) Isaacs of Clarenville, Dion Isaacs (Sheila King) of Point Au Gaul, Eddy (Michelle) Isaacs of St. John’s, Colin Isaacs (Yolanda Strang) of Lawn, Justin (Melissa) Isaacs of Winterland, and Michael Isaacs (Darlene Duff) of Paradise; Daughter - Paula Isaacs (Scott Baker) of Lord’s Cove; Sister - Rita (Leo) Giovannini of St. John’s; Brother-in-law - Edward Kold of Toronto, ON; 16 Grandchildren and 2 Great-Grandchildren; plus a large circle of relatives and friends. She was predeceased by: Husband - Casmir Isaacs; Sons - Glen & Casmir Jr.; Grandson - James Isaacs Jr.; Granddaughter - Olivia Isaacs; Sisters - Viola Kold, Josephine Fitzpatrick, & Elizabeth Fitzpatrick; Brothers - Joseph & Adolph Fitzpatrick.

The Mass of Christian Burial took place on Thursday, January 9th, 2014, at 11:00 a.m., from St. Elizabeth’s Roman Catholic Church in Lord’s Cove. Cremation followed. In Sarah’s memory donations may be made to St. Elizabeth’s R.C. Cemetery Fund. Donations can be forwarded to St. Joseph’s Parish P.O. Box 68, Lamaline, NL, A0E 2C0.
