The death occurred at the Provincial Palliative Care Unit on Tuesday, January 14, 2014 of Mr. James A. "Jimmy" Later of Charlottetown, in his 68th year.
Dear father of Cathy (Gordie) Bernard, James Larter, Trisha Larter (Brian MacLean), Steven (Natasha) Larter and Sarah Larter. He is also survived by 13 loving grandchildren, Miranda, Katherine, Katie, T.J., Julie, Ben, Dylan, Brandon, Sophie, Gracie, Marcus, Cameron and Aleigha; 5 great-grandchildren; sisters, Betty MacLean and Nancy (Buff) Claybourne; and brother-in-law, Alan McRae.
He was predeceased by his parents, Lem and Sue (Ford) Larter; sister, Shirley McRae; and brother-in-law, Freddy MacLean.
Resting at the Hennessey Cutcliffe Charlottetown Funeral Home from where the funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Friday at 11 a.m. Interment later in the Portage Cemetery. Visiting hours at the funeral home on Thursday from 6-9 p.m.
