The death occurred at Whisperwood Villa on Tuesday, January 14, 2014 of Mrs. A. Vergene (nee Stewart) White of Charlottetown, age 96 years.
Beloved wife of the late Vincent H. White and dear mother of Boyde (Kathryn) White and Wayne (Sharon - deceased) White. She is also survived by 7 loving grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; 5 great-great-grandchildren; daughter-in-law, Fay White; and sister-in-law, June Stewart.
She was predeceased by her parents, Peter Murdock and Jean Boyd (nee MacLure) Stewart; her son, Stewart; grandson, Craig; brothers and sisters-in-law, Elmer (Edith), Leslie (Gladys) and Maurice Stewart; and her sister, Hazel Stewart.
A committal service will be held at a later date in the People’s Cemetery, Charlottetown. No visitation or funeral service by personal request.
If so desired, memorial contributions may be made to the Arthritis Society.
