ARSENAULT, MABEL - Mabel Arsenault, 72, wife of the late Augustin Arsenault, passed away on Monday, January 20, 2014 at the Villa du Repos in Moncton following a lengthy illness with Alzheimer’s. Born on January 11, 1942 in Moncton, she was the daughter of the late Floyd and Ada (Patriquin) King. Prior to her retirement, Mabel worked at the Moncton Hospital. She is survived by two daughters: Carolyn Thériault (Mike) and Sara Trites (Andy), both of Moncton; four sons: William “Bill”, Kevin and John, all of Moncton, and Roland of Dartmouth, NS; 12 grandchildren: Matthew, Diana, Michael, Shane, Shawn, Josh, Jessica, Kyle, Ashley, Austin, Sammy and Lucas; four great-grandchildren: Marek, Milah, Annabelle and Mike Jr.; two brothers: Charles (Lillian) and Bobby (Mickey); many nieces and nephews. Besides her husband, Mabel was also predeceased by two sisters: Marjorie and Betty; seven brothers: Stanley, Clarence, Floyd Jr., Walter, Chris, Gerald and Ron.
The family will receive condolences at the Frenette Funeral Centre, 88 Church Street, Moncton (858-1900) from where the funeral service will be celebrated on Friday January 24, 2014 at 10 am. Visiting hours are Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. A reception will follow at the funeral centre. Interment will be in Our Lady of Calvary Cemetery, Dieppe.
