Bay St. George Long Term Care Centre, Stephenville Crossing

It is with great sadness that the family of the late Violet White announce her passing at the Bay St. George Long Term Care Centre, Stephenville Crossing, on Wednesday, January 15, 2014 at the age of 91 years. She will be sadly missed by her daughter, Daphne Sparkes of British Columbia; one ­brother, Gordon of Humbermouth; one sister, Alma Earl of Corner Brook; five grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and a large circle of relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her husband, Gus and her parents, Richard & Emily Reid; sisters: Lucy, Annie, Elsie and brother, Jim. Visitation took place on Wednesday, January 22nd from 7-9 p.m. at Russell’s Funeral Home, Stephenville. Funeral service will take place on Thursday, January 23rd at 2:00 p.m. at Russell’s Funeral Home Chapel, 57 Prince Rupert Drive, Stephenville with Interment in the Hillside Interfaith Cemetery, Hansen Highway, Stephenville.
