Peacefully and surrounded by her family at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital on Wednesday, October 22, 2008, of Mrs. Delma Garnhum (nee Doiron) of Charlottetown, age 83 years. Beloved wife of the late Edward Garnhum and dear mother of Gail Feehan of Sherwood, P.E.I., Michelle Garnhum of York, P.E.I., and Charles Garnhum of Calgary, Alberta. Loving grandmother of Paul Feehan of Calgary, Alberta, and Andrew Feehan of Mermaid, P.E.I. Delma is also lovingly remembered by her sisters, Louise (Yvan) Dionne of Rocky Hill, Conn., U.S.A., Stella (Edward) Blanchard of Rustico, P.E.I., Marita (Edward) Doucette of Rustico, P.E.I., and her brother, Edgar (Patsy) Doiron of Moncton, N.B. She was predeceased by her brothers, Vincent and Joseph Doiron. Resting at the Hennessey Funeral Home until 10:15 Saturday morning, then transferred to the Church of the Most Holy Redeemer for funeral mass at 10:30 a.m. Interment will follow in the family plot in the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Charlottetown. Visiting hours will be held on Friday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. If so desired, memorial contributions in Delma’s memory may be made to the P.E.I. division of the Canadian Cancer Society or the P.E.I.
