The death occurred at the Wedgewood Manor, Summerside, on Wednesday, January 22, 2014, of Wilda Kohout of Summerside and formerly of Bedeque, aged 97 years. Born in Bedeque, she was the daughter of the late Elliott and Mae (Newsome) Bell. Survived by her son George (Linda) Kohout, Rothesay, NB; daughter Lynn Montgomery, Bedeque; grandchildren Trevor (Dawn) Kohout; David Montgomery; Maureen (David) Pearce; great-grandchildren Kassel Kohout; Merrik Kohout; Katie Pearce; Owen Pearce; and by her sister-in-law Joyce Bell, Summerside. Predeceased by her husband Frank Kohout; brother Seaman Bell; and by her son-in-law Robert "Bob" Montgomery. Resting at the Moase Funeral Home, Summerside, where funeral service will be held Saturday at 10:30 a.m. Interment later in Peoples Cemetery, Tryon.
