MILLER, Curtis Wayne “Curt” – 60, Bible Hill, passed away suddenly, as a result of heart complications, on Tuesday, January 21, 2014, at home. Born November 26, 1953, in Kennetcook, he was a son of the late Douglas and Bessie (Gill) Miller. Curt worked at Kemptown Balefill Facility for a number of years. He loved music and was an avid sports fan, always cheering on the Montreal Canadiens. Curt is survived by his sisters, Paulette Miller, Truro; Marion Hughes, Stewiacke; Debbie (Earl) Hallett, Hilden; brother-in-law, Bernard “Bernie” Marshall, North River; several nieces and nephews; extended family, Elaine and Terry Hudson, Bible Hill. Along with his parents, he was predeceased by his sister, Goldie Marshall; brother, Ray Miller. Arrangements have been entrusted to Mattatall ~ Varner Funeral Home, 55 Young Street, Truro, where Curt’s family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m., Saturday, January 25, 2014, and funeral service 3 p.m., Sunday, January 26, 2014. Reception will follow. Spring interment in St. Peter’s Anglican Church Cemetery, Upper Kennetcook. Family flowers only.
