Curtis Wayne "Curt" Miller

MILLER, Curtis Wayne “Curt” – 60, Bible Hill, passed away suddenly, as a result of heart complications, on Tuesday, January 21, 2014, at home. Born November 26, 1953, in Kennetcook, he was a son of the late Douglas and Bessie (Gill) Miller. Curt worked at Kemptown Balefill Facility for a number of years. He loved music and was an avid sports fan, always cheering on the Montreal Canadiens. Curt is survived by his sisters, Paulette Miller, Truro; Marion Hughes, Stewiacke; Debbie (Earl) Hallett, Hilden; brother-in-law, Bernard “Bernie” Marshall, North River; several nieces and nephews; extended family, Elaine and Terry Hudson, Bible Hill. Along with his parents, he was predeceased by his sister, Goldie Marshall; brother, Ray Miller. Arrangements have been entrusted to Mattatall ~ Varner Funeral Home, 55 Young Street, Truro, where Curt’s family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m., Saturday, January 25, 2014, and funeral service 3 p.m., Sunday, January 26, 2014. Reception will follow. Spring interment in St. Peter’s Anglican Church Cemetery, Upper Kennetcook. Family flowers only. If so desired, donations in Curt’s memory to Heart and Stroke Foundation of Nova Scotia are welcomed.
