It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Charles Jacob Dombowsky on January 23, 2014 at the age of 68. Charlie was predeceased by his parents, Mary and Jacob Dombowsky, his first wife, Betty (nee Himbeault), and his brother-in-¬law Ed Bearss. Charlie was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting, and fishing and just being surrounded by nature in the north country. He was a family man with an intelligence and sense of humor few could rival. People were drawn to his kindness and ability to leave a lasting impression with a single meeting. His integrity, character and wisdom will be held closely in the hearts of those who loved him dearly. Charlie will be lovingly remembered and dearly missed by his wife Audrey; sons Steven and Jeff (Karen); step-son Darrick (Jen) Muth and step-daughter Angela (Vance) Schnitzler; as well as his two sisters Nora (Jim) Lyons and Carole Bearss; and his five grandchildren, Leanne, Nicole, Jacob, Alyssa and Adrianna. A Celebration of Charlie’s life will be held at W.J.Jones & Son Chapel on Friday January 31, 2014 at 1:30 pm. Reverend David Moore will officiate. Interment will take place at a later date.
