Brenda Love
LOVE, BRENDA - On Thursday, January 23, 2014, Brenda (Keddy) Love passed away peacefully at the Saint John Regional Hospital, with her beloved family by her side. Born in Saint John, she is the daughter of Thelma (Moore) Keddy and the late Charles Brewster and loving wife to Kenneth Love. Brenda worked in an administrative role at Ikon for a number of years, as well as, a financial institution until her health became a challenge in 2005. She was an active member of the Grand Bay Baptist Church. Through her life she was an avid fan of gardening and crafts and many will remember her for the pictures she was able to paint so vividly or the cross stitched canvasses she lovingly created. Brenda was also very musical, and entertained everyone with the songs she sang along to as she played her guitar. Along with her husband Kenneth, Brenda is survived by her son Drew Love (Miranda) and their son Kane; son Matthew Keddy (Bobbie Craft) and their children Gabriel, Kohean and Kamron; daughter Tamara Speiran (Connor) and their children, Sadie and Declan. She also leaves behind her sister Rose Godin (Jean-Claude) and their children Justin Keddy (Dale and Family) and Ashley Godin (Amanda and Family) Alex Godin and special niece Shauna Godin (Seaghda); brothers Steven Bishop (Patricia) and Paul Stannard (Dianne); brothers in law Bob Love (Christine and Family), Doug Love (Brenda and Family) her special lifelong friends from Moncton, “Lou” and Henry, as well as Leslie from Alberta and her two “furry” pals, Mickey and Buddy. In addition to her father, Brenda was also predeceased by her brother Jackie.
Arrangements entrusted to Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road (646-2424) with visitation Sunday from 2-4 and 6-8 pm. The Funeral Service will be held Monday, January 27, at 1pm from the Grand Bay Baptist Church. In lieu of flowers, donations in Brenda’s memory made to the Animal Rescue League, Canadian Liver Foundation, or the Grand Bay Baptist Benevolent Fund would be greatly appreciated by her family.
