The death occurred peacefully at the Colville Manor, Souris, on Thursday, Oct. 23, 2008, of Helen C. MacKinnon (nee Flynn), wife of the late Kenny Charlie MacKinnon of Cable Head. Beloved mother of Margaret Gallant (Charlie), Doris MacKinnon, Charlie (Debby) MacKinnon, Sara Deveau (David), Grace Thompson (Greg). Lovingly remembered by grandchildren Sherri, Sarah, Corey, Allison, Jason, Brian, Madelyn, Kate, Joe and Matthew and eight great-grandchildren. Survived by brother Reggie Flynn and sisters Jeanette MacDonald and Lillian MacInnis. Predeceased by parents Pius and Agnes Flynn and brothers Elliot and John Flynn, sisters Margaret MacKinnon, Josephine MacDonald and Mary Ann Chaisson and infant brother Pius Francis and sister Mary Madelyn Flynn. Resting at Dr. Roddy Centre in St. Peter’s Bay for visiting hours on Friday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral to be celebrated on Saturday at St. Peters Roman Catholic Church for funeral mass at 11 a.m. Interment in the church cemetery.
