At the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Charlottetown on Friday, October 24, 2008, of Ivan Moar Macdonald of Brudenell, age 97 years. Beloved husband of Katherine “Kaye” (nee Beck). Loving father of Eric (Janet), Brackley; Alice (Barrie) Poole, Chatham, Ont.; Bill (Joan), Stratford; and Doris Herring, Roseneath. Dear grandfather of Sheryl (Greg) Simmons, Wade (Laura), Brian of Stratford; Brent, Calgary; Devon, Roseneath; Dale, Calgary; and five great-grandchildren. Also remembered by special nephews, Atwood and Sandy, and niece Edith Graffweg. Predeceased by his son-in-law, Merrill Herring; and by his brothers, Jim, Wilfred and Gordon. Resting at Ferguson’s Montague Funeral Home, from where the service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Monday at 2 p.m. Interment in the Brudenell Cemetery. Visitation Sunday, 2-5 p.m. only.
