Mary Norma Macleod

The death occurred peacefully, with family by her side, at the Beach Grove Home, Charlottetown on October 24, 2008, of Norma MacLeod, dear wife of the late Guy MacLeod, of Riverdale in her 93rd year. Norma was the beloved mother of Wilma (Russell) Drake; and dear Grammy of Garth (Cathy) MacKinnon, the late Heather (Tommy) Weatherbie, Irwin (Donna) MacKinnon and Norman (Khristine) MacKinnon. She was the much loved Great Grammy Cloud of Brooke (Phillip) Hupé and Britanny MacKinnon; Mallory and Candace Weatherbie; Logan, Courtney, Halle and Ashlee MacKinnon; and Chad and Renee MacKinnon; and Great-great Grammy Cloud of Ella and Marcel. She is also survived by her brother, Kelsie Buchanan and her sister, Wanda (Orvin) Corney. Besides her husband, Guy and her granddaughter, Heather, Norma was predeceased by her parents, Fred and Mary Buchanan; her brother, William and her sister-in-law, Mary. Resting at Central Queen’s Funeral Home, 2538 Glasgow Road, New Glasgow, for visitation on Saturday, October 25, 5-8 p.m. Funeral will be held at Burnside Presbyterian Church, Clyde River on Sunday, October 26 at 1:30 p.m. Flowers gratefully declined.
