Passed away at the Health Science Center St. John's on Monday January 20th Bernice A. Bennett of Grand Bank, age 79 years. Predeceased by parents Maurice & Elizabeth Myles (Bungay), husband Thomas W. Bennett, brother Orlando Myles, & sisters Annie Myles, Gladys (Alex) Hardy, & brother-in law John Bennett. Leaving to mourn; 3 children George (Mary) Bennett, Marie (Rick) Grikis, & Paul (Myra) Bennett. 5 grandchildren; Daven, Trevor, Melissa, Ramona, & Christine. 3 great-grandchildren; Emily, Jamie, & Jodie. Sister Emily (Irving)Smith Hamstead, New Hampshire, & sister-in law Hettie Bennett. Also a large circle of other relatives and friends. Funeral service was conducted by Rev. Marilyn Rees on Thursday January 23rd at 2pm from the Grand Bank United Church. Interment followed at the Grand Bank United Church Cemetery. Music was provided by Betty Rogers. Pall Bearers were; George Bennett, Paul Bennett, Trevor Bennett, Rick Grikis, Daven Grikis, & Tom Hardy. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to the care of Warren's Funeral Home Grand Bank.
