It is with great sadness that the family of the late Mary “Mildred” Young announces her passing on Sunday, January 26, 2014 at the Bay St. George Long Term Care Center, Stephenville Crossing, NL at the age of 90 years. She will be forever loved and missed by her grandchildren: Elaine (Scott) Southwell, Judy (Jamie) Rideout, Mark (Jane) Belvin, Thomasene Belvin, Sheliah Belvin, Johnny Belvin, Gerard Simon, Charles Simon; 19 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; brothers: Mike Wheeler, William Wheeler; sister, Annie Mary Young; as well as nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her parents, Herbert & Margaret Wheeler; husband, Charles Young; son, Tony; daughter, Mary; great-grandson, Thomas. Friends may visit Fillatre’s Funeral Home, Stephenville Crossing, on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral mass will take place on Wednesday, January 29, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. from Assumption Parish, Stephenville Crossing, with Father Edmund Camacho officiating. Interment to follow at the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Stephenville Crossing. As expressions of sympathy, flowers are graciously accepted.
