It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of our loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend to many, Angus Gerard Campbell on Jan. 24, 2014, surrounded by his loving family.
Born July 30, 1955, he was the son of the late Colin and Nellie (Hawley) Campbell.
Angus, a very proud 40-year member of U.A. Local 682 Plumbers and Pipefitter and served as vice-president for many years. He worked as a plumber/pipefitter for greater than 40 years working in many provinces. Angus was a faithful member of St. Leonard’s parish. He was also a member of the Army, Navy & Air Force Veterans #217. Angus enjoyed watching sports in particular the Montreal Canadiens. He enjoyed a good card game like cribbage, tarabish, and 45s, especially with his best friend, father-in-law Eddie Tighe. He was an exceptional pool player (by reputation).
Angus was a hard worker and good provider. He loved to spend time with family and friends and always willing to lend a hand to any. He gave generously of his talents. Angus had a wonderful sense of humour and displayed his beautiful smile “full time”.
A consummate grandfather; Brandon was indeed “the apple of his eye”. His “best little buddy” furry friends Zoey and Keith will certainly be aware of his absence.
He is survived by his loving wife of 37 years, Mary (Tighe); daughter Natashia (Ronnie) McSween; sons Christopher (Christina) & Matthew (Tiffany) and grandson Brandon.
