Florence Jessie Nicholson passed away Monday, Jan. 27, 2014, at the MacGillvray Guest Home, Sydney.
Born in St. John’s, Nfld., she was the daughter of the late Lew and Jessie (Marshal) Pike.
Until retirement, Florence was employed as a manager with the Nova Scotia Teachers Credit Union.
Surviving are her sons, John (Dawn), Seattle, WA and Robert, Sydney; grandchildren, Jon, Anita, Bradley, Robbie, Rodger, Richard, Cheryl, Macie and Amber; and several great-grandchildren.
Florence was predeceased by her husband, John; sister, Doris Proctor and brother, Lew Pike.
Interment will be held at a late date.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Alzheimer Society.
