WHITE, IRÈNE - Iréne White, 90, of Moncton, passed away on Thursday January 30, 2014 at the Moncton Hospital. Born on August 18, 1923 in Moncton, she was the daughter of the late Epiphane and Elmire (Cormier) Belliveau. Irène was an avid bingo player and loved to travel.
She is survived by one daughter, Norma LeBlanc (Robert); three sons: John (Claudette), Paul (Caroline) and Michael (Diane); several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews. She was the last survivor of her immediate family. She was predeceased by five sisters: Geneva, Loretta, Elise, Yvonne and Dorice; one brother, Normand.
The family will receive condolences at Frenette Funeral Centre, 88 Church Street, Moncton (858-1900) from where the funeral service will be celebrated on Monday February 3, 2014 at 11 am. Visiting hours are Monday from 9 am until time of funeral. A reception will follow at the centre. Interment will be in Our Lady of Calvary cemetery, Dieppe.
