GOODIN, JEANE LOUISE – It is with great sadness the family announces the passing of Jeane Louise Goodin which occurred unexpectedly at the Saint John Regional Hospital on Wednesday, January 29th, 2014. Born 1941, in Saint John, she was the daughter of the late Garfield and Rita (Bartlett) Friars. Jeane was a devoted and loving mother and grandmother. She enjoyed playing bingo and camping at Town & Country Campground in Sussex. Jeane will be greatly missed by her sons Michael, John, and Mark of Saint John and Bruce of Vancouver; daughter Kim Levy (Shannon) of Saint John; brothers Russell Friars (Shirley) of Truro, NS; 5 grandchildren, 5 great-grandsons as well as several nieces, nephews and friends.
Arrangements are under the direction of Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road (646-2424). As per request by the family there will be no visitation. A memorial service will take place from the Fundy Funeral Home chapel on Monday, February 3rd at 10 a.m. followed by an interment at Fernhill Cemetery.
