April 10, 1959 - January 29, 2014 - It is with heavy hearts and sadden souls, we announce the passing of our dear loved one; Cynthia Elizabeth Bryant, formerly of Cavendish, Trinity Bay, NL. With much grace and dignity, surrounded by ever-loving family, Cynthia peacefully lost her fearless and courageous battle with cancer, at the Victoria General Hospital in Halifax, Nova Scotia at age 54. Awaiting happily at Heaven's shore, she will once again reunite with her precious mother Dorothy, grandparents William and Gertrude Bishop, James and Asenith Bryant. Leaving to mourn with fond and treasured memories; her devoted husband Gerald, precious daughter Melanie and father Reuben. Also seven loving sisters and families: Daphne (Fred) Osbourne, Doris (Larry) Cumby, Millie (Randell) Crane, Diane (Walt) Higdon, Roma (Lawrence) Meaney, Beverley (Donnie) Bishop, and Wendy (Wallace) Carew. Ever remembered by ten nieces and nephews, eight great-nieces and nephews, Aunt Nellie Reid and Uncle Harrison (Alma) Bishop; Father and Mother-in-law Roger and Elizabeth Fougere. A large circle of wonderful cousins and friends, noteworthy are three special cousins and best friends, Marg Pollett, Donna Patterson and Dorothy Cooper. Cremation and Visitation took place for family and friends at Atlantic Funeral Homes 125 Sackville Drive, Sackville, NS on Friday January 31st at 2pm. A memorial service and celebration of Cynthia's will be held Tuesday, February 4th from 7:00pm-9:00pm at the Community Centre in Cavendish, and Wednesday at 2:00pm at the Good Shepherd Church in Cavendish. Cynthia fought the good fight until the end, teaching us all a valuable lesson that life is a precious gift meant to be shared together with much faith, hope and love. "I shall be telling this with a sigh, Somewhere ages and ages hence: Two roads diverged in a wood, and I, I took the road less traveled by' And that has made all the difference."
