Stephenville (Formerly of Fogo Island)

It is with great sadness that the family of the late Edward Heath announce his passing at the Sir Thomas Roddick Hospital on Monday, February 3rd, 2014 at the age of 81 years. He will be sadly missed by his loving wife, Shirley; three sons: Eldon (Michelle), Calvin (Denise), Donnie, all in Stephenville; seven daughters: Ruby (Alphonsus) in Stephenville, Wavey in Moncton, NB, Rosie in Edmonton, Daphne in Toronto, Marlene in Stephenville, Diane (George) in Stephenville, Michelle (Leo) in Fort McMurray; nine stepchildren: Rick (Louise), Keith (Florance), Rodney (Gladys,) Donnie (Tracey), Joyce (Tom), Karen (Melvin), Tammy (Monte), Glenda (Calvin), Elizabeth (Brad). Also leaving to mourn are his two brothers: Raymond (Trixie), Fogo Island and Roy (Sheila) in Rogers Cove; two sisters: Effie (Ernie) in Twillingate and Marion (Lorne) in Fogo Island; 15 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild and a large circle of relatives and friends. He was ­predeceased by his first wife, Louise; his parents, George & Mabel and his sisters: Gladys and Shirley. Visitation will take place from Russell’s Funeral Home, 57 Prince Rupert Drive in Stephenville, on Wednesday from 7-9 p.m. and Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral services will take place from Zion Pentecostal Church on Friday, February 7th, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. with interment in the Pentecostal Cemetery in Boswarlos.
