The family of the late John (Jack) Matthews extends a sincere thank you to all who expressed their sympathy and support on the recent passing of our beloved father and grandfather.

Thank you to those who sent thoughtful cards, flowers, food, called, made donations to the War Amps Fund or other charities, visited the funeral home or attended the Memorial Service. Your kindness and show of friendship were greatly appreciated. A special thank you to the medical staff of 3A at WMRH; your compassionate care and detailed note taking of our father’s final hours were very comforting. Thank you Dr. Carl Sparrow for years of medical advice and assistance. We are also very appreciative of the dignity, compassion and professional manner in which Fillatre’s Funeral Home dealt with our loss. To Rev. Harry Whitehorn, Gary Graham and Tom Carey, your input and participation in the Memorial Service greatly enhanced a loving tribute to our father. Thank you as well to the UCW of First United Church for hosting a such a lovely reception.
