Claude Bourque
BOURQUE, CLAUDE - Claude Bourque, 92, of Moncton, passed away on Monday February 3, 2014 at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont UHC. Born on March 3, 1921 in Scoudouc, he was the son of the late Henri and Alice (Gauvin) Bourque. He retired as an electrician for CN. He is survived by his three children: Jackie Sullivan (Greg) of Winnipeg, MB, Ron (Gail) of Belledune and Norma Thornhill of Florida; one sister, Eleonore Bourque of Moncton; one brother, Yvon (Anne-Marie) of Moncton; one half-brother, Emery Gauvin of Toronto; four grandchildren: Scott, Kristian, Amanda and Ryan; five great-grandchildren: Charlee, Laney, Kali, Grace and Emily; many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by her first wife, Loretta Hébert (1990), his second wife, Marie Richard-Cormier (2011); one sister, Sr Norma, and one grandson, Jordan. We wish to thank the immediate family members and the nursing staff of the CHU Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont who took such good care of our father.
The family will receive condolences at Frenette Funeral Centre, 88 Church Street, Moncton (858-1900) from where the funeral will be celebrated on Friday, February 7, 2014 at 4 pm. Visiting hours are Friday from 2 pm until time of funeral. A reception will follow at the Centre. Interment will be in Scoudouc parish cemetery.
