TONKS, WILLIAM ARTHUR “BILL” - With sadness, we announce the passing of Bill on Sunday, December 29th, 2013 in Vancouver General Hospital. He was born April 28, 1959, in Halifax. He is survived by his parents, Thomas Sr. and Rita (Finucan) of Dartmouth; daughter, Natasha, Halifax; brothers, Thomas Jr., Dartmouth and Mike (Linda), Fredericton; sisters, Shirley Roche, Mooseland and Judith Tonks-O’Rourke, Dartmouth. Bill was a member of IBEW and always enjoyed working in his field. in his spare time, he enjoyed hockey, hunting, and fishing.
His final wishes are being honoured with cremation and scattering of ashes in a favorite fishing spot by friend, Graham O’Rourke, Vancouver. A memorial service will be held on February 10th at 11 am, at St. Luke’s Anglican Church on Veterans Avenue, Dartmouth.
