The death occurred peacefully at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, on Wednesday, February 5, 2014, of Bertram Joseph Thomson of South Shore Villa, formerly of North Tryon, aged 90 years.
Beloved husband of Shirley (nee Thomas) Thomson. Loving father of Brian (Cheryl), Dawn (Ted) MacFadyen, Nancy (Bill) MacFadyen, and Paul (Karen). Bert is also remembered by grandchildren, Andrea, Scott, Joseph, Julie, Michael, Nicole, Daniel: great-grandchildren, Nicolas, Jessie, Spencer, Amy, Lilly and Emily; sisters, Lillian Roper, Millie McEachern, Phyllis (Art) Fleigher, Joyce Campbell, Ruth Cutcliffe, Elizabeth (Alger) Cutcliffe; and brother, Raymond. Predeceased by brothers, Art and Charlie; sisters-in-law, Glen, Elayne, and Louise Thomson; and brothers-in-law, George Roper, Cecil McEachern, Walter Campbell and Gordon Cutcliffe.
Resting at the Dawson Funeral Home, Crapaud, with visitation on Saturday, February 8, from 2-5 p.m. Funeral service Sunday, February 9, from the North Tryon Presbyterian Church at 2 p.m.
