It is with great sadness that the family of the late Leonard Thomas Hoyles announce his passing on Friday, February 7th, 2014 at the Long Term Care in Corner Brook in his 83rd year. He will be sadly missed by his loving wife Edna (nee Bryant). Children Evelyn (Jerry) Tabor, Glenn (Carol) Hoyles, Patti (Ron) Scott, Leah (Roger) Russell and Lynette (Sean) Simon. 12 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. Sisters Evelyn Bryant, Ella LeDrew, Jean (Jim) Clarke and Joy Hoyles, brothers Gerald (Ruby), Baxter (Verna), Wayne (Beverley), Ralph (Angela) and Jacob Jr (Lorna). His step-mother Trixie Hoyles. Also a large circle of neices, nephews, relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his parents Jane King, father Jacob Hoyles, sister Dorcas Holloway, brothers Jacob Jr. and John. Visitation will take place from Parsons Funeral Home & Chapel on Sunday, February 9th, 2014, from 2-4 and 7-9pm. The Funeral service will take place on Monday, February 10, 2014, at 2:00pm, from St. Paul's United Church in Deer Lake, with Rev. Myles Vardy officiating.
