The death occurred at the Kings County Memorial Hospital on Friday, October 31, 2008, of Hilda Doris Douglas of Montague, age 87 years. Wife of the late J. Hamilton Douglas of Mount Stewart. Mother of Lyman (Norma), Ann (John) Perry, Gloria (Gerry) Laybolt, Faye (Allie) MacPhee, Gail (Danny) Perry and Janice (David) MacDonald. Survived by 14 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren. Sister of the late Sydney Ives and Beatrice Pankhurst. Resting at MacLean Funeral Home Swan Chapel from where the service will be held on Tuesday at a time to be announced.
