GORMAN, JOHN WILLIAM "BILL" - 1947 - 2014 - Bill Gorman, of Moncton, passed away suddenly on Saturday, February 8, 2014. He was 67. Born in Stellarton, NS, he was the son of the late Jay and Jean (MacKenzie) Gorman. Bill spent the first half of his adult life in the hotel industry working with Wandlyn, Howard Johnson’s and Keddy’s. He later opened and operated a successful restaurant equipment supply company “Gorman Restaurant Equipment”. He retired in 2002. In his youth he was a champion speed skater and in later years an avid golfer. He will be dearly missed by his wife Sherrie, daughters; Tosha (Norman) and Gylian (Kenny), grand daughters; Laura, Brooke and MacKenzie who loved their Papa. He is also survived by sisters; Lois and Patsy both of Toronto, a brother, Roland of New Glasgow, as well as several nieces and nephews.
The funeral service will be held from Cobb’s Funeral Home Memorial Chapel, 330 Whitepine Road, Riverview (869-2007) on Wednesday, February 12, 2014 at 2:00 PM with Rev. Brent Ham officiating.
